Buzz: Will Cro fly against the Bills?
Will Antonio Cromartie (AKA “The Team’s Second Best Receiver”) see time Sunday against the Bills as a wideout?
It’s not a lot to go on, but in an article about Stephen Hill starting in the Star-Ledger, Rex Ryan was coy about what role Cro could play on offense. ”We’ll see,” said Ryan when asked about Cromartie and if he plans to have an offensive role.

Cromartie is a gifted athlete but, while I’d love to see the Jets use him at times in such a role, at the end of the day his first focus is and will always remain cornerback. Maybe it’s just coincidence, but it seemed in the games where he had a larger than expected special teams role as a returner, he’d be more prone to lapses in play at the corner spot. Cro’s play on the corner has to be the team’s first priority.
