We’ve had some time to vent, some time to relax, and now it’s time to get refocused on football as the Jets prepare to face the Jacksonville Jaguars Sunday afternoon. Will Mark Sanchez’s second half be better than his first half? How much better can the defense get? Will Rex Ryan learn from his mistakes after some time to reflect on his first 8 games as a head coach? All this and more on the this week’s edition of the TJB Radio Show.

Here we are again. The Jets are coming off a disappointing loss and sweep at the hands of Miami. At 4-4, it’s time for the Jets, and their fans, to evaluate the season to this point and where it’s realistically headed. .500 finish? Playoffs? All this and more on the TJB Radio Show.
Also, a special appearance from UK Editor Bent!

Another week, back on the grind at the TJB Radio Show. Unfortunately, we tried to get a player this show but were unable due to scheduling, but we’re trying here for you. Still, we’ve got a lot to talk about.
Show Starts: 2:00 PM CALL IN NUMBER:(347) 857-4586
38-0 will buoy any team’s confidence, but the Jets face a much stiffer test this week than the sadsack Oakland Raiders. How will the team respond in it’s first game against a good team without Pro Bowlers Kris Jenkins and Leon Washington? That’s the question all Jets fans are wondering and we’ll talk that and more on this week’s edition of the TJB Radio show.

It’s Thursday and that means it’s time for the TJB Radio Show. This week, we’ll be joined by Michael Lombardi from the National Football Post to talk all about the freefalling New York Jets.
Show Starts: 2:00 PM CALL IN NUMBER:(347) 857-4586
The Jets’ season is teetering on the brink after a dismal 16-13 overtime loss to the Buffalo Bills. Kris Jenkins out for the year, the shine is off rookie QB Mark Sanchez and rookie head coach Rex Ryan, and the Jets have lost three straight — two in the division — after starting out 3-0. What’s next? We’ll talk about it in the next edition of the TJB Radio Show.
Special guest: National Football Post’s Michael Lombardi

We’ve got a particularly poignant episode of the TJB Radio Show upcoming on Thursday at 2:00. As you can imagine, we’ve got a whole lot to talk about and we’ll have to cover a lot of ground in just an hour’s time.
Rex will learn from his clock management mistakes — believe it. He’s too good of a coach not to.
Bob brought up that the defense will right itself, but it’s probably somewhere in the middle of coming down to the Earth and failing to live up to expectations.
Speaking of Rex, the way he blamed the practice squad was inexcusable. It’s HIS responsibility to prepare the practice squad, so if they fail, he and the coaches fail.
The Jets need to knock the Bills off of their season’s edge and get back the respect they had going into last week and right their season’s ship.
Will the Jets face wildcat formations as the season goes on?
The Jets had better — and WILL — get in Trent Edwards’ face.
I want to see NFL films, Ray Lewis-level hits on this Bills team. Let’s see Bart Scott and company flatten people.
This game needs to be a beatdown, plain and simple.
We’ve got a big edition of the TJB Radio Show Thursday and we’ll be joined by Newsday’s Bob Glauber to talk all about the suddenly sliding New York Jets.
Show Starts: 2:00 PM CALL IN NUMBER:(347) 857-4586
Okay, so blame this one on the fact that I’m an idiot.
I didn’t think enough to realize literally every media memberĀ and player (which is our next big goal) covering the Jets is busy on Wendesdays at 2:00 p.m. So yeah, that’s on me. My bad. My fault. My mistake.
Anyhow. What we’ll do is just move the show to THURSDAYS at 2:00 p.m. and we’ll (hopefully) be able to get any player or beat writer you guys want.
I’m sorry if this F’s up any of your plans. If it makes you feel better, it certainly screwed up mine. (I know that it didn’t make you feel better at all. Sorry for bringing it up.)
Thursday we’re aiming for a big show because of the loss and the upcoming game. What guest would you gusy like?
First of all, I just want to thank everyone who commented on the suggestion post last week. Your thoughts and ideas were definitely not in vain. The show will have better structure moving forward with a defined mailbag segment and the new Pick Six segment. I really appreciate the ideas and the help.
That said, just some brief notes here for you loyal readers/listeners/commenters out there.
As I mentioned briefly in yesterday’s post, due to the overwhelming listening response to Thursday’s afternoon show, the show will be PERMENANTLY moving to Wednesday afternoon’s at 2:00 p.m. No schedule concerns or questions about when the next show is. Now you’ll know where to check every Wednesday for your TJB Radio Show fix.
I’m looking to find someone to help out with some asthetic aspects of the show. If you can help out, please e-mail me at TJBWeekends@gmail.com or post in the comments below. The best submissions will definitley be rewarded in some fashion.

Hope you’re all having a great weekend. Any questions about the show or questions FOR the show, you know the e-mail. Go Jets.
Well, another episode of the TJB Radio Show is in the books. We didn’t get the guests we were hoping for — the Cleveland blogger just flat-out never responded and there was a technical mishap getting Newsday’s Bob Glauber on the show, but we’ll make sure he does get back on later on in the season.
Some topics from the show:
We took some of your advice into the show, trying to structure the show more efficiently with two new segments: a mailbag and the Pick Six (a six pack of questions surrounding the Jets)
This guy Braylon Edwards was talked about. Go figure.
Can they fix the running game? Will Braylon help?
How will Braylon affect Sanchez?
Is Ndamukong Suh an option for the Jets in the draft going forward?
Which Miami pass rusher should the Jets really be worried about?
How big will Calvin Pace’s return be?
PROGRAMMING: We’ll be moving full-time to Wednesday afternoons starting this coming week. More details to follow in a separate host tomorrow so stay tuned.
Got a couple e-mails (one from a DANISH Jets blogger haha), a good number of chat questions, and a record number of calls. So keep it coming, folks!
