At what point do the Jets stop being "lucky" to have found Douzable, Harrison, Devito, Pouha, etc., and start getting credit for taking unheralded D-linemen and coaching them up?

Is there anyway to get Cimini fired?

I was watching Eric Ebron highlights on YouTube yesterday, no complaints if we end up with that guy. Seems to have breakaway speed and is a red zone monster, there are a couple plays where they just threw it up in the endzone and he leaped super high over the defender to bring it down

Rich is back to trolling.

Sure, Richard, no one really worries about Muhammad Wilkerson destroying their offensive gameplan single-handedly, which is why he's double and triple teamed on the regular and teams go entire drives without running to his side.

I can't wait until we legalize marijuana on the national level.  Winslow's arrest is like arresting him for drinking a Mike's Hard Lemonade, a synthetic alcohol.  Laws against marijuana were tightened by a bunch of squares who were afraid of not only the "hippie" revolution, but also everything else that remotely threatened there post WW 2 normalcy.  You can't blame them for being afraid, as the world was torn apart by WW 2, but it's time to start sleeping with the lights off again.

@a57se They don't seem to count Kerley as a starter either.

@a57se We were pretty fortunate in that there were no serious injuries to most of the starters outside the receivers.  The lost a couple of potential contributors in Goodson and Barnes though.  And of course we had both the WInslow and Goodson suspensions (argh).

@a57se I don't watch college much, but it always looks like the college secondaries are terrible.

Color me somewhat surprised, Benjamin has declared for the draft. I didn't realize he was already 23.

@a57seTerrible mechanics.  That Laredo delivery will be a magnet for batted down passes and fumbles.  He needs a lot of work.

He is a good late round 6th or 7th round prospect.  I like his presence and anticipation on throws.

@Ceifus HornswoggleEven if pot was legal, Winslow would find another way to get into trouble. He can't seem to help himself.

@Ceifus Hornswoggle I think once other states see that world didn't end in Colorado and they're making a nice chunk of money on taxing it rather than wasting money on incarceration, they may follow suit.

@Ceifus Hornswoggle Im starting a slow clap.

Unfortunately NY will probably be one of the last states to make it legal.  Although NY has taken a baby step towards the medical marijuana stand recently so who knows.... Legalizing MMA is another thing NY for some odd reason wont do.

@harold He has to anticipate with the way he puts a lot of air under them.

I like him as a late-round project, too.

@juunit I don't follow UNC so I really can't speak about his usage, but he's an undeniable athlete

@djf1@Ceifus Hornswoggle

It makes a lot more business sense to tax the people who have expendable income to buy weed rather than trying to squeeze a few grand out of the people who get caught.  Then again, the court system wants to get its hooks into your life so it can keep squeezing you as long as it can.

@levi The recent executive order is rather limited. It only allows a select number of hospitals distribute it and it's highly regulated for specific illnesses.

It's just hilarious to me. I live in NYC. This morning I walked from 59th and Lex. to a job site, about 16-17 blocks away. I saw 4 different people using hash oil vaporizers. I know what they look like, because I have one. There was recently a story about how these are rampant in NYC and people are walking around stoned all day because no one knows that it isn't an electronic cigarette they're smoking.

Walk around neighborhoods after school lets out and you'll smell something funky on the stoop. Plus all the growing that happens upstate.

It's just hilarious that the state is fumbling over itself to stop something from being legal that is already rampant and has its own economic system in place. Legalize it, tax it, regulate it. Start chipping away at that pretty deficit the state has. It's just silly.

I like him though.  I watched a few games of tape on him since the end of the season and watched the entire championship game.  H reminds me a little of Plaxico Burress.  Decent one cut and get up the field after the catch and really wide catching radius, strong hands.  Made all the tough catches but usually dropped one basic catch per game   Also seemed to be a strong blocker as well.

I love this guy's quick release. What round is he projected to go?

jdb7

@a57se@jdb7There isn't much on Youtube.  Fortunately I've been able to watch him at work.  Cannon arm, quick release.  Haven't done enough study yet but there is a lot of good

@a57se @SackDance99 I honestly can't even tell what his mechanics are from that video.  It'd need to be better quality and slowed down to make those judgements.

Harold listed 3 of them. I'd add Xavier Grimble from USC to the list as well.

@harold Thanks guys I will check them out. Ive been wanting one for a while now. That and a good rangy safety.

Just watched him against USC, He looks like a 2nd round guy  on tape which is good for us.  However,  Niklas looks like he could test well which might push up some draft boards.

Marcus Armstrong

@a57se I think the Pats have probably had their fill of "Athletic but trouble TE"s.

Yeah, I've been hearing good things. I'll have to grab some tape. Don't think I watched any ND this year.

Marcus Armstrong

@harold Colt is probably the most talented TE in the class, but he's off the wall crazy, so...

Has anybody watched Troy Niklas? Apparently he declared last night, and twitter was having a collective orgasm.

harold

I haven't watched game tape on him.  I do remember him from Oregon (I think).  I will watch some games.

I think Lynch improved his pass catching a great deal and CJ seems capable of being a presence in the pass game although I don't project Vernon Davis... lol.

Levi

Dual threat TE's

1) Seferian-Jenkins from Washington

2) CJ Fiedorowicz from Iowa

3) Arthur Lynch from Georgia

As for Recieving TE's

1) Amaro

2) Ebron

3) Seferian-Jenkins

To me Seferian-Jenkins equal Heath Miller, I would sign up for that in a heartbeat if he available in the 2nd round

levi

@juunit who are a couple of the best dual threat TE's coming out this year?

@juunit I'm cool with that as long as he's more Hernandez and less Keller

He is. He's just more of a WR then TE, ala Keller.

@Brendan Small world.  I'm pretty sure you played too, right?  If so, do you remember playing either John Jay  in High School or the East Fishkill Packers in Pop Warner?   We used to play teams in Monroe all the time in Pop Warner.  I think we're pretty close in age, I wonder if we played each other.

@Brendan As you probably know I live upstate and you would not believe the money that is wasted up here on it. Choppers flying around in the fall. Border patrol and State Police are everywhere up here year round. Luckily some of us know the back woods and swamps in this rural area pretty darn good.
