Jaworski: Manning to Jets Makes Sense

I think it’s best for Peyton to go and play on a team that can compete for a Super Bowl. A team that might be a quarterback away from elevating that team to Super Bowl status, and I think that would be a win-win situation. The New York Jets. I love [Jets quarterback] Mark Sanchez, and there are 25 other quarterbacks in this league that I would take Peyton Manning over. There’s a turf war in New York. The Giants just won the Super Bowl. The Jets are fighting for every inch of space they can get in the newspaper. How do you get that inch? How do you get the headlines? You sign Peyton Manning.

key to win was switching Shump onto Dragic, and melo had 4 assists

as good as Tyson is defensively, i"m not sure they lose anything with Kenyon, maybe even better..kmart is a better passer, better finisher, might be better on guarding smaller players after the awful switch. Im not sayng we dont need Tyson because kmart cant last playing this many minutes, but its working

Melo will probably get a 5 game suspension for cursing on T.V.; very Stern.

"Barbosa has speed" Didn't know he was a dealer. Def cannot be talking about his movement, barbosa looks like a pirate with 2 wooden legs

The coach tried really hard to lose this one, but bad execution from the Suns bailed him out. The team was in complete control and then the coach gave his "motivational speech" at the half....

Thankfully the team held on and the climb out of hell continues.

One game at a time.

I think intent is to put your ears onto Legler's bball talk and your eyes on the ladies...

@NYKnickerBocker When you're a losing team, you don't really have "trap" games. Given this team's predicament and overall season, tomorrow's another must win. Until you become a .500 team, you take everything you can.

And against Charlotte, you most definitely can.

As long as the team keeps the mentality of one game at a time, we're ok.  But with this winning streak and Indiana, Clippers and Brooklyn coming up - it has trap written all over it.  Regardless of the overall record.

@Elvis Maduro @VerySilentJay I disagree. The offensive execution pretty much throughough the 2nd half was was very subpar. Stagnanat, too much dribbling, not enough ball movement, and little was done by the coach to fix that.

You ask me, the Knicks should've won by double digits. Credit the Suns for seizing upon the Knicks' mistakes to get back in it, but the encouraging tihng is that a game like these was a lost cause last year.

Thus far, they've been successful in tighter situations and have held on, a characteristic winning teams must have.

But I'm still not sold in the way the coach handles his rotations and I still question his abilities to motivate certain players and adjust during games.

Sadly you're right, that era is behind us and not coming back...I guess the memories will have to do...

@lobcity No offense taken :-) Most definitely it's done to gain an even bigger audience but also to appease the feminists. Most of the time I'd rather hear my basketball talk from a man too lol.

@SheSaidSpikeWho @VerySilentJay @Elvis Maduro For a team that's actually stopped the eternal switching, they chose the worst moments to do it tonight. Always leaving a lesser player against a quick guard.

Seeing Amare and AB on Barbosa time and time again was painful.
