Rocky McIntosh Visits Jets

The Jets currently have 88 players on their roster. Room for two more. I’m told, per source, that one of those players will be a punter. Thus, that leaves room for one skill position player. Could it be a linebacker?

According to ESPN 980 in Washington, D.C., former second round pick by the Washington Redskins, Rocky McIntosh, recently came to the Jets facility for a workout. McIntosh has experience playing both outside linebacker and right inside linebacker. Furthermore, after he lost his starting job last season, he was relegated to special teams.

We will keep you up to date if anything becomes of this, but right now it seems this was just Tannenbaum leaving “no stone unturned,” as McIntosh left without a contract. He also visited the Minnesota Vikings.
