2011 Analysis: Not much was seen of Schlauderaff, but he was some of the bench strength for the Jets this past season. Schlauderhaff was traded to the Jets for an undisclosed selection by the Packers, who drafted him in the 6th round in 2011. Schlauderaff was expected to be part of the solution to Robert Turner’s injury, but he saw limited time, and when he did, didn’t really distinguish himself positively or negatively.
2012 Outlook: The team traded a pick for him, so there’s going to be the desire to try and keep him around as a project player, but at the same time, if the team comes out this spring with better talent on the line via free agency or the draft, then cutting him down won’t be a major concern either.
Random Thought: Schlad didn’t do anything wrong, but he didn’t really do much this past season in the limited time he did see the field to stand out. It’s hard to say what this year will bring, but spring practices and training camp will be big for his future with the team.
