The Jets have issued their injury report and while it looks like Eric Smith won’t be playing this weekend, LaRon Landry was off the field today as well, getting listed as “Did Not Participate” after fully participating yesterday.  Landry’s absence has raised some eyebrows, and some in Buffalo have taken this as a sign of Landry being unable to play this weekend — that’s just not the case at all.

The Jets are still going slow with Landry, as he recovers from his injury and as a precaution are planning on sitting him at least one practice a week to prevent aggravating his achilles heel.  There’s no story here.
