Playoffs!
Adam Schein gives some predictions for the season for NFL.com and the one of his predictions is about the Jets.
3) Tim Tebow will lead the Jets to the playoffs. Sort of.
Offensive coordinator Tony Sparano wants to run the ball. He will do it withTim Tebow, who will rush for eight or more touchdowns and finish second to Shonn Greene in rushing yards. On my SiriusXM show, Jets legend Joe Namath questioned the logic behind the Tebow trade, while simultaneously picking the Jets to win nine or 10 games. I totally get it. A dominant defense will carry the Jets. And despite the preseason struggles,Mark Sanchez cuts down his turnovers and wins games like he has in the past.

Agreed. For the last two weeks there was a lot of reactionary stuff about the Jets and their offense. But common sense is starting to prevail again. Even if their offense isn’t great, their defense is. For all the concern over the Jets and whether or not they can score on offense, the truth is that their defense is good enough to help see them through and their offense can be capable of keeping the defense out of trouble moreso than they were last year. I do think that the team is fragile offensively in terms of depth at multiple spots, but the Jets should have enough to get the job done offensively.
