Week One: Bills At Jets Injury Report

The New York Jets have released their final injury report for this week’s game against the Buffalo Bills.

Here’s how it looks:

Questionable: Sione Po’uha (Back), Mike DeVito (Calf), Dustin Keller (Hamstring)

Out: Dennis Landolt (Knee), Eric Smith (Hip/Knee)

In addition to these players, 10 were listed as probable, but there’s no real concern of players there not playing this week.  It looks pretty much as we had expected heading into the weekend.  Smith will be out and the fact that the Jets haven’t stashed Landolt on the I/R is certainly implies that they think he might be able to contribute this season.

DeVito and Keller will most likely play on Sunday, but don’t expect Po’uha to be up for this week.  According to Rex, Po’uha was begging his coaches to let him play, but Rex must feel like caution is the better move here.  ” I feel better about him going next week” Rex said in his press conference on Friday.  Po’uha might yet play, but the safe bet is to expect that he won’t be activated this weekend.
