Well things just got a bit more interesting. As you’ll recall Berry had a few run-ins with the law this past summer but ultimately the Jets need someone who can help the team on the field and hopefully Berry will be able to do just that after a solid 2011 campaign with the Lions. Kyle Wilson moved to Revis’ outside spot yesterday and was lucky Alex Smith mistimed a few throws as he was badly beaten. Meanwhile, Trufant’s size continues to work against him in coverage, Lankster seemed a bit shaky and McKnight is still learning the position. Yeah, we need help.
You can bet money that Tannenbaum gave him an incentive-laden contract to protect themselves in case he continues to have brushes with the law. No corresponding move has been announced yet.
