4:59PM: The Jets have announced the move on twitter.
They announce that the fourth-round pick in 2014 becomes a third round pick in 2014 if he is on the Tampa Bay roster for the third day of the 2014 league year.
4:51PM: Adam Schefter tweets that the trade is official.
The Jets will receieve:
- Tampa Bay’s first round pick in 2013
- Conditional fourth round pick in 2014 that could become a third round pick.
Schefter notes that Revis has signed a six-year contract worth $96 million. He will make $16 million in each year of the contract
None of the money in Revis’ new contract is guaranteed.

3:30PM: Rich Cimini of ESPN writes that Revis was expected to arrive at the Bucs facility at 2:30PM ET today.
1:33PM: Brian Costello of the New York Post‘s source said the Jets will receive the Buccaneer’s first round draft pick this year (13th overall), and more picks in 2014.
12:57PM: The deal is done, according to Rich Cimini of ESPN. The only thing standing in the way is Revis’ physical. If that goes well, the trade will be completed by the end of the day, Cimini said.
10:26AM: According to Jason Cole of Yahoo Sports, the Jets and Bucs have already agreed to the terms of a trade. He adds that the Bucs and Revis have agreed on the basic terms of a new contract and the deal should be finalized by tonight or tomorrow morning.
9AM: According to at tweet from ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Jets have granted permission for Darrelle Revis to visit the Tampa Bay Bucs and undergo a physical with their doctors.
Schefter notes that the Jets would not allow Revis to undergo a physical with the Bucs if they couldn’t work out a trade.
