Buzz: Jets Interested in Kevin Boothe?
Jason LaCanfora lists the Jets as one of the teams talking to Giants offensive lineman Kevin Boothe.

The 29-year old Boothe has been playing left guard for the past few years and had a decent season in 2012. As is the case with Willie Colon he played right tackle when he was younger, but has responded well to a move inside. He is also capable of playing center. With Colon’s injury history and the uncertainty over how Vladimir Ducasse will respond to getting a bigger role, it perhaps makes sense for the Jets to look into hedging their bets at this position.
The Giants were reportedly interested in acquiring Matt Slauson to replace Boothe, so we could even be set for a cross-town swap. Boothe is coming off a two-year $2.5m contract, but it will be interesting to see how much money he gets in comparison to Slauson.
