Jeané Coakley, SNY Jets Reporter:
The Jets have plenty of holes to fill in their defensive starting lineup. One of the spots is free safety.
During the first week and half of camp, Antonio Allen is leading the race to be the starter. Rex Ryan has said he loves Allen’s length and that he’s been impressive in camp.
I sat down with Allen to find out more about him…
Jeané Coakley: How’s camp been for you so far?
Antonio Allen: It’s been good. I have to stay consistent, stack my days and try to become the leader among the competition.
Coakley: You are competing for a starting spot and right now it’s your spot to lose…
Allen: I just have to hold on to it, keep coming out here and learn things every day. I have to focus on correcting the little things.
Coakley: Is it a different mindset going into this camp?
