Cohen and Bradway Continue to Work In the Background

News of the Jets signing multiple players to reserve/future contracts and making other transactions has left many of you wondering who is running the show with the team seemingly frozen. Conor Orr confirms what we’ve thought for the past two days.

Woody Johnson and his executive search firm Korn/Ferry will begin GM interviews on Friday, but in the meantime, Cohen and Bradway have maintained control of football operations.

Eric Weeks, TheJetsBlog.com

Bent made a good point that many of these contracts were lined up prior to Tannenbaum’s dismissal so having the players sign off and making an announcement is just a formality. At the same time, Cohen and Bradway are still at the helm to manage any personnel issues.

All star games are about individual stats, not what someone has won. What a brainiac.

No. I've seen teams go playerless. He is as good as advertised.

Doesn't every team have to be represented? Thats why he's there. It was either him or the kicker

good for him but i would  rather he take time off and heal up completely, the game itself should not be played too much of a chance for injury.

Who cares, big freaking deal. The game is a joke. Good for Beckham but as a fan could care less. He was the best player on a horrible team big deal. No playoffs no success. I just see a lot of empty stats.

And by the way the Giants just fired Perry. Called that as well. The Giants always choose one guy fire them and then let everyone else off the hook. How do you fire Perry and gilbride but Reese and Tom stay that makes no sense. Who was running the team Tom or Perry? And if he was that bad why didn't you fire him last year? Why didn't Tom change the defensive plan? What is toms job exactly? He just hires guys and then gives them free autonomy with any expectations that's Tom's fault not Perry. If I'm a worker and I do exactly what my boss tells me to do or gives me power to do why should I get fired? Now if Perry refused to make changes then I'd understand but other then that the fault is on Tom not Perry.

Most overrated receiver, he's won nothing.

I'm not sure about that and if it's true or not but what does it matter OBJ should have been on the team injury to Megatron or not ... What some Giants fans (the crazy ones who know nothing of the game apparently) don't see for some reason is how unreal this kid truely is ... He has a chance to be the best in the sport that's how gifted this kid is. I mean he missed half the season or whatever it was 40% of the yr and still was among the top WRs in the league statistically it's dirty.. This kid is so good if he can stay healthy he will easily shatter every Giants receiving record there is...not to mention kid single handedly saved Coughlins job!!!
