Nice to see the return game addressed.  With Ford and Saunders, we will scare some people. Can't wait for some long returnes.

Cimini and Manish are really trying to get Wilkerson to sit out for more money

@MMehtaNYDN

Jets DL Mo Wilkerson: "Do I feel that I’m underpaid right now? Yeah... But that’s part of the business"

I kinda think the media in attendance should be doing the stop, drop, penalty push ups also just for the humor

I think I fell asleep and missed the Jets West report

We’re a zillion miles ahead of where we were last year= we finally pooped out the Sanchez era and all clear from here for better or worse

Must say all the local media reports on the Jets are surprisingly positive for a change.  A lot of the vitriol and questions aimed at or being posed to Big Blue, not gang Green.

Also must say refreshing that one or more negative nancies who feel a need to comment on everything twice or more with attitutde - - - the cloggers - - - seem to be on vacation.  Nice.

@idothis2 I'd pay money to see Cimini try to do 5 pushups in his mom jeans and grandpa white-on-white sneakers.

@idothis2

If the NYC sports journalism corps was forced to do pushups at training camp, there would be multiple fatalities.

Mark Sanchez still did it this year, by himself.  No WRs, no DBs, nothing.  Just him and his dad at a HS field in Cerritos, CA for three days.

He had 74 turnovers.

@idothis2

I believe that Jets west will be held in Cortland this year.

@tsjc68  That just looks like he's listed without a # at all to me.

I'd say that TJ Barnes started sweating, but he's fat, he was already sweating.

@tsjc68 Or 4 mill per for the next few years as a mentor backup QB makes perfect sense for someone who lost 50 million dollars a few years ago.

@tsjc68 He's just setting Geno up for a Game of Thrones-level backstab. I'm talking Hulk Hogan going NWO on everyone, complete heel turn.

@jaygo

I love Geno and I think we haven't seen a good QB like Geno since Pennington

Who?

Yes, but on the West side of campus.

@Disgruntled Jets Fan

Heh.

It's funny that Big WR Keyshawn Johnson, who re-popularized the "wearing numbers in the teens" thing for WRs is an alumnus of a team that now has all its Big WRs wearing numbers in the 80s (Decker, Nelson, Evans, Enunwa, Hill) while all its Small WRs wear numbers in the teens (Kerley, Saunders, Ford, Hakim).

(And yes, I did completely ignore Clyde Gates, Michael Campbell, and Greg Salas not fitting this pattern, and YES IT WAS INTENTIONAL.)

SO TONIGHT WE'RE GONNA PARTY LIKE WE'RE WEARING NUMBER 99

Penny would dominate with the weapons we have this year and the D we have.  I would mess myself if Geno could turn into Penny by year 2.

BDarc23

@bob @jaygo I hope so. Sanchez improved significantly in every statistical area in year 2 and still ended up sucking by year 4.

@tsjc68 I don't think there will ever be a cut as celebrated as Clyde Gates' pending cut, at least on TJB.

@Brendan @bob

We should have a Bob Day, where we all talk like Bob.  (Or at least see how long we can keep it up.)

Geno is by far much more settled down. I think Sanchez kinda play a little scared .

@tsjc68 @BDarc23 @bob @jaygo

Geno to me is one of the better players on the offense . I don't think Geno was ever the weekest link on offense Ok however maybe a few games with rookie growing pains .For the most part Geno did great and grew up fast.

@BDarc23 @bob @tsjc68 @jaygo

Kinda short on Receiver's and TE. The O-line still was trying to put it together. There was a lot of transition going on the offensive side of the ball.

Early on.

IMHO, Sanchez turned out to be a B-U-S-T BUST that set us back the usual 2-3 years that a first round bust sets you back.  We won when he showed up despite of him, not because of him.

@jaygo @bob @BDarc23 @tsjc68

Mark Sanchez is Joe Flacco without the height to throw over the OL without getting his passes tipped.

It's just a good thing the Jets and Ravens were smart enough to not sign those guys to contract extensions, amirite?
