I dont. mrblint 5pts Deon Jordan suspended 4 games. Can u imagine if philbin had to deal with the NY press and the genius of cimini and Mehta. bklyndude 5pts Meanwhile, Cimini is trying to figure out if Rex and Idzik are on the same page because they have conflicting agendas as far as the QB. Idzik badly wants Geno to succeed whereas Rex can't afford another season of growing pains with Geno and might tab Vick if things go badly.I thought the reason Idzik brought in Vick was so if things went bad for Geno we could have another option to go to. Isn't that being on the same page. bradysucks 5pts Jets have been 30th in the NFL in receiving since 2011 when they were 21st in league according to the nj.com article......so why does Sanjay Lal have a job???My feeling is the entire offensive coaching staff and the GM should be fired if the Jets aren't a lot better in receiving production this year. I don't think that is even a little unfair based on the sheer pathetic production since 2011......There is nothing wrong with failure but there is a lot wrong with not fixing what is broken.....Now I do think that the Jets made improvements this offseason but it remains to be seen whether using all 12 draft picks was a good idea when they could have easily traded up in the draft and added weapons who are better than Shaq Evans and Enunwa........ tsjc68 5pts Number of times the words "Quincy" or "Enunwa" appeared in that NJ.com article about the improved WR group: zero maynard 5pts wonder if we are all deluding ourselves NE avg or better 30 Miami 26 Buffalo 32 jets 17 levi 5pts Whats more American than a demolition derby and lawn mower races? Thats where this redneck is going today. tsjc68 5pts "HEADLINE: Veteran who hasn't played in the league in years predicts that other veteran player that is one of his contemporaries who has a verifiable track record of sorts will outplay younger player that he doesn't know very well"(Rinse, repeat) tsjc68 5pts Posted from the other thread:http://www.playbuzz.com/wrtvdigital10/can-you-pass-a-u-s-citizenship-testA 50-question citizenship test for the 4th. kniff 5pts @bklyndude When you say "if things go badly" should there be any renewed attention to our O line strength as we head into preseason? I'm thinking the focus shouldn't only be on Geno, Vick, Marty, and Rex...being that jobs are on the line.Another question I have is if Sudfeld is indeed our best blocking TE, shouldn't that translate into more snaps with the first team, and a bigger role in the offensive scheme? a57se 5pts @bradysucks Maybe the GM who acquired the WR talent should be fired instead?Oh, wait...he WAS! And so was the Offensive Coordinator and WR coach! Pat d 5pts BradysucksAs far as the weak receiving numbers, I thought that was all on Sanchez as far as you were concerned. But you are right about questioning picking 12 players in the draft. There is no doubt in my mind that was a mistake. This could turn out to be the draft class of the WR and the Jets with 12 picks got nada. That would be unacceptable. BDarc23 5pts Lal is the scapegoat? Really? Does that mean your favorite receiver Hill would be much better if they had some other obscure assistant coach for the WRs? buckets 5pts I love how they could have EASILY traded up. tsjc68 5pts Because that's not Lal's fault. You can't get blood from a turnip. __fense 5pts @bradysucks We've had some pretty terrible luck with injuries to WR since 2011. It isn't just the coaching staff that's the problem, it's that we have had young guys that look great all offseason and then get hurt right as the season starts the last few years. Also I love how you think it's fair to fire a GM, who started last year, because something's been an issue since 2011. We should fire Idzik now because he hasn't won us a Superbowl in over 40 years. bradysucks 5pts @tsjc68 'Well maybe Enunwa will get some respect from the press if he is good enough to beat out NFL legends like Stephen Hill, Clyde Gates, Shaq Evans, David Nelson etc. and earn a roster spot.... (sarcasm) a57se 5pts @maynard We're STACKED!!! Who are you trying to kid??PFF is CLEARLY biased against the Jets! buckets 5pts Screw that. Tanner Purdum is elite! bob 5pts @levi cool Zartan 5pts @tsjc68 Funny, watched a guy who seemed to really study players shoot him down with a valid grasp of what's going on in Jetville. Davis stood with a frump. bob 5pts @tsjc68 Hi tsjc68. this one pretty good also.. funhttp://www.rethinkingschools.org/just_fun/games/mapgame.html bklyndude 5pts @buckets Well you've got to admit, it's much easier to be the QB on Monday morning when everybody has hindsight.I remember a time when Jet fans used to root for all of the players on the team, at least until the team gave up on them. levi 5pts @tsjc68 Hey, I just read another article from a local paper here that said Brian Leonard has only fumbled once in his career. Im not saying we should sign him or anything but I thought that was an impressive stat. Pat d 5pts _fenseWe haven't had young WRs that are close to being great in a long time. Pat d 5pts That is funny Bradysucks levi 5pts @Hanknaples That is a pretty good thing for him to do. bob 5pts What you do is pick a county and with the mouse drag it up to its spot. tsjc68 5pts @bob THIS IS AWESOME.I successfully did Morocco, Western Sahara, Mauritania, Mali, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Sudan, Turkey, Cyprus, Lebanon, Israel, Syria, Iraq, the Palestinian Territory, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Iran, Afghanistan, and Pakistan right away. All that's left is to try to remember which of those central landlocked African ones is Chad and which one is Niger, which former Russian republic is Armenia and which one is Azerbaijan, and successfully guess where the four "stans" go above Iran and Afghanistan. LET'S START GUESSING. __fense 5pts @tsjc68 @bob I didn't do well on that one. Outside of the major ones, like Egypt, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Turkey, and Israel, The closest I could get was "This one's in Africa" or "This one's with the rest of the 'stans" and then guesswork got them to where they actually were. bob 5pts @tsjc68 @bob You did a lot better than I tsjc68 I got most of them wrong. lol I just had to keep trying. tsjc68 5pts @bob Bah, I tried to put Uzbekistan and Tajikistan into Turkmenistan's spot. MY PERFECT STREAK IS RUINED. So, I got 31 out of 35 right. Those four "Stans" between Kazakhstan and Iran/Afghanistan tripped me up. tsjc68 5pts I like geography. joemustgo 5pts @tsjc68 @bob This should help. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BXqKkYYALMU Pete 57 5pts Awesome, a SCTV reference.
