Cimini's note on Jordan Matthew's 10 drops neglects to mention he caught 110 (44 screen passes fwiw) vs the Utah guys 53.  two very unlikely thoughts; one, Richie being a mouthpiece for the Jets FO trying to ensure availability at pick 49 and two, any NFL FO paying any attention to Cimini!

Brandin Cooks      round 1

Allen Robinson       round 2

Think this makes the Jets better??

Uhhhh.......YES

Even at 30 years old, Cromartie is still a big, strong athletic corner who excels in press coverage, a perfect fit for Ryan’s defensive scheme"

 Do your research son.

Is there a full list anywhere of what prospects the Jets have brought in for personal visits.  I know that they only get thirty.  Anyone know if Dennard is one of them?

Cooks, Beckham, and Amaro....just praying we can land one of em'!! (Two would be cause for major celebration)

Still concerned about the O line... Geno needs the three steps Skynyrd sings about to let the play develop!!

We lucked out with Colon and Ivory being healthy last season who are injury prone. We had no upper end starters go down also. I just hope we have some competent depth, as you cant defy the odds forever.  The only area that I really feel confident with is the Dline with solid starters and depth. All the other areas are shaky with holes at starting talent and depth. Man do we need a huge draft!

Two things some people need to stop doing during the draft.

1) Stop trying to baptize your cat In da water. How many times do I gotta tell you guys dat one.

2) Never trust your dog to watch your food.

Remember that family is like an ice cream Sunday they are sweet but their some nuts in them.

What your dog needs to learn.

Regarding our "need" at CB........I think Millner will be MUCH better this year and that the "need" to have 2 pro bowl quality CB's is ridiculous.

The Jets have a much improved pass rush which is going to be even better than last year in my opinion.......It isn't like QB's will have "all day" to throw the ball

- Big Mo and Pace had 20 sacks between them in 2013...

- Richardson will be a monster who is going to keep improving...

- We will add depth at LB in the draft

- Guys injured last year will be healthy again

I hope Cooks or OBJ are there when the Jets pick......

I think Cooks will be gone......

Patterson will play really well for us and he's familiar with AFC wrs

Cromartie excels at press coverage is all I needed to hear to know this guy never watched any film on Cro. We'll see but I never thought Cro was actually injured, but that age was catching up to him. Maybe he was sore, but that's what you deal with as you age. He can't make up for his mistakes if he loses a step. Good luck getting him to press. They couldn't do it when he was young, and in perfect health. I doubt they'll get him to do it now.

I like the list of players visiting the Jets. Wouldn't mind if we drafted any one of them. The article on Cro vs. Patterson is right on point. I think Patterson was a desperation move after the Jets and Cromartie couldn't agree (Izdick was probably overally low-balling).

Exactly, go see what I posted to that story.

@dgdg

Steiny usually does a piece on all the Prospects the Jets have shown interest in.

@kniff  Wouldn't it be beautiful if on occasion Geno can go 5 steps and connect on some long distance to stretch Defenses? For that, you need a solid and well oiled oline.

@jake100

What are you talking about Joey?

We lost Holmes, Winslow, Kerley, Ivory for some time early, Hill, so we had more injuries and games missed (Winslow suspension) than you are acknowledging.

@bob  You cant trust cats either bob. A few minutes ago I was eating some peanut butter cookies with a glass of strawberry milk. Im reading TJB and I look over to see the cat ears deep in my milk. I was pretty upset because it was the last glass of milk and I like my milk with my cookies.

Wikhow.com is very helpful. They've to me how to make both white bread toast and wheat bread toast, as well as Ego waffles

Ppl just like to bash the jets every move... I don't feed into that kind of negativity..if another team makes the same moves you hear nothing..

@dabronx   I agree. Patterson most are saying, is to just try to stop the bleeding but wont improve the situation.

@Pete Whalen  Maybe its just me but once I read something like that I just cant take the rest of it seriously.

On a side note, I went to a new winery yesterday and the owner was a Whalen. Young guy doing very well with it.

@harold @jake100

What he is saying is that we have been very fortunate to NOT have the injuries on the O'line.

There were several teams whose O'lines were decimated by injuries, if that happened to us we'd be toast.

Steven Windeler

@jake100 @dabronx The situation last year was the worst starting CBs in the league. Between Milliner turning the corner, and Patterson/Walls it's already a huge improvement.

@jake100  We usually go all out with tons of stuff but one of my faves is little sausage thingy dingys wrapped in bacon with brown sugar on them. Not healthy but tasty.

Attacking an improving Milliner and if healthy Patterson?  I don't see it Patterson is actually pretty good when he is on the field.

UncleJoesJetFarm
UncleJoesJetFarm

@Steven Windeler @jake100 @dabronx  Milliner definitely will be better, but will still go through growing pains, Patterson is just a stop gap and has to stay healthy and Walls is a journeyman.  I see a hopefully hold the fort secondary, but not a solid one by far. Passing offenses will be attacking!
