100% chance of rain and very windy for the Pats game tonight. The Pats always have the Devil on their side!

One aspect that has to get cleaned up and that is penalties. The Jets were not too bad in penalty yardage,17th but  what was alarming was 54 presnap penalties which shows lack of focus and discipline. Also the main penalty's were for offensive holding 19 for 140 yards, a few declined. . That would show the O lineman cant deal with fending off the defense and have to resort to illegal holds.  I am sure the Jets will clean this up for this season and that could mean the difference of a couple games. Nothing worse then when the offense has momentum going and  a holding penalty prevents another first down.

Since it's quiet here, I thought I'd see what's up on MetsBlog.  Good to know that some things never change, and the English language is still brutally mutilated there on a daily basis.

Thank you TJB staff for at least attempting to occasionally proof-read, relatively speaking.

Nice half-assed study on injuries. I guess no one told Rick Gosselin that backup and rotational players are also important. Per his study, the loss of Antwan Barnes meant nothing because he wasn't a starter! Jeremy Kerley's four games missed with injury? Nothing! He's just a lowly slot receiver!

Wow, sure is a lot of offseason to go .... *sigh*

@levi

NO, you MAY NOT!

I heard 900,000 Colts fans say it first!

@jake100 Didn't you yourself say that the contracts don't run out until February 1st?  Where did you hear that?

I wonder what the Jets are waiting for, if they wanted any Assistants back? I think they would have commenced on some sort of action if they did, who knows , maybe they have.

@jake100When you have a 2nd Round QB as raw as Geno (who was not ready to start an NFL game) running the O, presnap & holding penalties are going to be abundant.

You'll see more of the same in 2014 because NFL-wise he's barely up to rookie efficiency and nowhere near the play ability of Luck and Wilson's rookie years. - As a fan, prepare yourself for a rocky rookie ride in 2014.

@Brendan Yeah, wut. That was a complete waste of time. Also ignores all injury listings. Just because the guy toughed it out doesn't mean he was 100% (Cro, Coples).

@Brendan It's especially funny about Kerley when Ciminidiot has repeatedly written about how he's a main cog of the offense. Just stupid.

@Bent @jake100

Bent, I honestly dont remember saying that date. If I did, I am sure I got it from somewhere. Even so, if they really were intent on keeping them, I would think it would at least be very close to being done by now, and again, who knows maybe it is.

@r_in_ct

You mean someone should have listened to something the Cimidiot wrote?

 That is a novel sentiment on this Blog!

@a57se @jake100

I guess that's a good way of looking at it. I was cold to Rex coming back, but after I really thought about it long and hard, it is the the best move.

@jake100

Well all we have to do is watch the video from the Dolphins game where Woody announces that Rex is coming back! That's all we need to rely on to know that everything is just peachy keen in Jetsland!

Yeah, hopefully we will hear something positive soon. Time to get ready for some good football today/tonight!

 @frustjetfn @jake100 You know that thing about you not realizing when you were being "unnecessarily inflammatory"?

Sarcastic comments like this fall under that category.

I know you feel wronged because people get angry at you for constantly criticizing and being negative about Geno, but this was a reasonable comment.
