Why would anyone in their right mind want Garrad back next year?

This new system is really stupid.  Must have been designed by the same idiots and liars who designed the Obamacare website.

What does everyone think of Aaron Murray in the 2014 draft? I like the fact that hes a scholar and has a chip on his shoulder after getting hurt late in the season. Most likely a later round pick, maybe middle round, but at the rate we are going, i don't know how much longer I can watch bad QB play for... I feel like that's all this team has to offer, bad quarterback play... I mean, even Brett Farve went sour with us before going to the NFC championship game the next year. Really??? WTF????

The new system with Sny.tv login still has some bugs.

1. Shouldn't have to keep logging in every time you make a comment. Login once per session.

2. After making an edit, the button to send / post it shouldn't be labeled "edit comment." How about changing it to "save, save edit, send' or anything else. "Edit comment" indicates the beginning of an action instead of the end.

3. The sorting of "Newest" and "Oldest" needs fixing. For example, it intersperses 1 or 2 hour old comments with 15 minute ones.

What do you think fellas can we beat the mighty Raiders?

With 4 games to go, Idizk has to determine if the Jets can win with Rex Ryan? Its clear Rex and his defensive staff can come up with a solid game plan week to week but if the offense is continuously unproductive how can he be expect to win? Or does Idzik need an offense mind set to lead this team? It's clear the Jets have talent on defense but the same cant be said for the other side of the ball.

This must be the day Jets fans lose their minds as I can't believe some of the nonsense I am reading in the comments!

Now Jeremy Kerley is the reason Geno Smith has Sucked??  If he plays, Geno is good????

What about Tennessee? What about Pittsburgh? What about Cincinnatl? Geno played just as poorly in those games as he has the last three.......sounds like some folks are grasping at straws.

Stop looking for silver linings to the Geno nightmare. This kid is not gonna turn it around overnight, this is not a fairy tale where the magical WR shows up and suddenly we have a good QB. There isn't going to be a light bulb moment where Geno goes from turnover machine to the next Peyton. The Jets are not going to win out and make a mystical magical run to the SB........

This isn't a team where "You gotta believe" applies as they are short on talent in too many key areas. They have a young foundation on defense to build on and that is exciting but the offenses foundation is getting old and the talent level at the most important position is not very experienced and in Geno's case, not ready for primetime.

I didn't even click on the link that says"Kerley may hold key to Geno's success" because it's utterly ridiculous that he is our best WR. How long has it been since we've had a playmaking WR? No, Holmes doesn't count.

@theeditor   Agreed.

If he is a man of astute reason but will not  see  a snap, make him a coach and don't waste a roster spot.

If correct, his last snap was in 2010, next year will be his fifth season without playing.

Brilliant, just brilliant once again Jets.

Because his mentoring is having such a positive effect on Geno?

Suggestion: Not to be disloyal, but to help a fellow Jets sufferer: Post it on the Raiders site and take them for all you can. They're crazy enough to pay it.

Did you forget he's a rookie? Yes he had some bad games where he played like a rookie but he's shown some limited flashes, I'm of the thinking if Geno had some legit talent around him his struggles might be limited as well, he has no security blanket at all, Kerely is the closet thing to that but has missed the last 3 games. It's fair to think Geno will be better with Kerely back, good enough to beat the Raiders? you gotta believe that's a real possibility, this is still the team that beat Brady and Breese at home. A magical run could simply be that this team goes 8-8 or 9-7 to finish the season. Going 0-7 after the bye would ruin the good vibes of a season in which not much was expected.

@frustjetfn  He is rallying the troops!! Meh, I got a few buddies who are Raider fans so it will be fun tomorrow as long as we keep it competetive.

@here2win Correct me if I'm wrong but Geno is the one throwing the interceptions isn't he?  Sure rookies will throw interceptions but throwing this many if strictly on him.  He's just not learning.  He's on one of the biggest stages in the world and he's not learning from mistakes.  Where is his pride?  Throw it away or getting sacked are better options but he is too prideful to take them. (or stupid, or who knows why really).

@jaygo "you hate Geno and everything he stand for."  I know you weren't talking to me, but I read most, if not all, comments so must ask: What the h-ll does that mean? What does Geno stand for? He's a 2nd round rookie draft choice who's doing on the job training in real games that count in the standings. If he stands for anything else like "world peace" he hasn't announced it publicly.

If YOU have an agenda besides rooting for the Jets, give us a break and tell all. I don't see a reason for anyone hating Geno, but I do see reason for getting disgusted with Jets management for bending their own rules to continue starting Geno when he hasn't earned it.

Geno shouldn't be starting now b/c no one's lousy performance should cost the team games. It shouldn't be Geno at all cost, but the Jets at all costs and if / when he's up to it then start him. They'll be no need for BS'ing the fans then.

PS. No matter what, Jets better draft a QB next year and have an OPEN competition for the job. This BS sucks.

I still have yet to read a single comment suggesting this is the case.  The fact is that Geno has been a horrific disaster.  There's no getting around that. What is wrong with making assessments based on fact?

@frustjetfn  The Jets probably will draft a QB in the next draft; but that is no guarantee  that QB will be any better then Geno Smith (or Matt Simms). Maybe the Lucks, Russell Wilsons are aberrations; after all how many other rookie QBs played this season who have succeeded. Some analysts don't believe their is a franchise QB in the next draft...only an abundance of possibilities. I think a lot of us hope that Geno Smith can turn it around and is currently just taking his rookie lumps. Just because we draft a QB next draft doesn't mean we will have a successful 2014 season and the recent history tells us that whoever we draft "probably" won't be a guy that will be great....or at the least will take 2-3 years to show how good he might be. It's a crap shoot. At least Geno has shown flashes and their is hope that 2013 can be a learning experience. I think that is why we give him the benefit of the doubt; otherwise we are just resigned to the fact to starting all over again.

a57se

a57se

Apparently there is a disconnect between the word "Struggle" and "sucks".

Tom Brady is struggling with the lack of experience at WR and TE this year so his Comp. pct. is down 3% from last season and his TD pct is down 1.3% while his INT % is up 0.4%.

That is how good QB's struggle with inferior weapons.

What Geno and Sanchez (last year) have done is just plain suck. If you double the deltas from Brady's performances and adjust Genos' stats, he would still be BAD!
