Let's look at this the other way. If he weren't the the darling of Christian conservatives everywhere, we wouldn't be talking about him except as what a great college player he was. He's not an NFL quarterback whether he believes in god, buddha, the aqua buddha, or a tree....

Offering Tebow a job he will never take isn't newsworthy... I'm officially offering Peyton Manning, Richard Sherman, and Tom Brady a job at my moving company. Put me on ESPN

While the safety position can be upgraded, it is not the area in most need. I would rather go for a mid level veteran and the draft as Landry and the ascending Allen can hold the fort, but no doubt, Byrd would be huge, but not at a crazy price.

I got news, after an 8-8 season with no weapons, a rebuild with a new scheme/coaches and a rookie qb, that if  we dont get at least 10 wins this season, that  something is really wrong. of course this doesn't include a couple of real serious key injuries. I think if we dont get 10 barring a key injury like the QB, it will be a major disappointment. I am not saying we are ready for a deep run yet , but now with over 30m in cap space and around 11 picks there should be no reason not to get 10 wins and make the playoffs. I would be dejected with anything under 10 wins.

I'm signing up for 10-6 next season, and then anything can happen...

FA James Jones and then get Evans, Amaro, or Ebron with our first draft pick.

Mean and Green 2014!!

I hope somebody signs Tebow just so I don't have to forevermore see him referred to as "ex-Jets QB".
