My take on officiating: if the fans can't see it, it shouldn't be officiated.

If I,m a player and I want to end this nonsense get both teams to start every play by saying the N word in unison.  A lot of pejorative words start out heinous and then the ethnic groups that they are aimed at adopted the word to take away the hate engendered in it. My grandparents are from Ireland.     To them the "paddy wagon"  that was used to haul people off to jail was a slur. Now no one even realizes that it was/is meant that way.    The intent is what should be policed , if any word on he field or in the locker room is used hatefully, someone is offended and complains then punish away. but to start penalizing and affecting the game for peoples language not used in a hateful way is wrong.

The word is heinous but as used by young African American players it's power is taken away and as uncomfortable as it may make some  people feel, , whats next.  Do we enforce work place violence laws on the field on particularly hard tackles?

On another topic, I jus bottled  my latest Hoe Brew  SONS OF ANARCHY STOUT.

Fermenting now is my JOE NAMATH GAURANTEED IPA

Should all be ready to drink by Draft day!!

@Bernard Mclaughlin  It's dangerous when white people try to put on darker skin and act like we understand that perspective when it comes to the word.

I do suggest everyone watch Outside The Lines' report on it. It portrays the contrast between the young generation and the generation that lived through the civil rights movement pretty well.

@bob

That is a terrible draft to me......

@bob  I like Bullough as a player. I loved that MSU defense in general, but he and Dennard were really fun to watch. Is he really expected to fall to the 7th round?

@Brendan @Bernard Mclaughlin   greed, Frankly I think the NFL both on fieloroff shoul react to compaints  of abusive language. but to penalize for the use of a word that may have in fact been said without malice and received without malie can only hurt the game

I could live with Cooks though I think beckham is better,

Sua'Filo is a bad pick as he doesn't fit the Jets scheme and we don't need to draft our 4th Offensive linemen in two years. (I know you really want more O'linemen, Bob.)

Landry is a nice receiver but I'd rather someone with a little more size as a possession guy.

Aaron Murray just isn't that good and I wouldn't draft him.

I seriously doubt McGill will still be on the board in the 4th but this pick I like the best. 6'3" CB's who run 4.5 40's don't usually last this long if they can play and McGill CAN play.

Breslin is a guy I like but once more it is VERY optimistic to think he'll be on the board this late.

Gilmore is OK but nothing to write home about.

Max Bullough is a guy I was interested in a month ago but the more I looked, the less I liked. He is, AT BEST, a two down LB'er.......he is even slower than David Harris.

I read an article I think it was the Bleacher report.

Late round gems.

Jeff Janis big body receiver ran a 4.42 6th/7round.

Kevin Pierre Louis fast undersized OLB 6th or 7th round.

Devin Street receiver ran a 4.47 5th round.

Jonathan Dawling 7th round. Big physical safety graded top 8 at the combine.

Yes Sir Mr. Brendan that's the way to build a good football team. I totally agree.

@bob I definitely could see something like that happening. Beef up the trenches after getting Geno some pieces, I like it.

Yep me to. I did watched tape on receivers and guards. in addition listening to Marty Mornhinweg.

and what his concepts of putting together a good offense is in his mined would be.

and from watching film.

I'm guessing.

1st round Cooks or Beckham or Ebron and 3rd round Landry.

I think in the 2nd round.

Guard or OLB or edge rusher.

 3rd,(b) 4th, 5th,6th,7th not really sure.

I think.. Turn on the Jets draft is coming from  what Mornhinweg thinking.

@bob Ha, I appreciate you valuing my opinion, but I wouldn't assume I know more than the guy who did this mock. Work's kept me pretty busy, I don't have the time to watch film like I used to (wah wah life's hard).
