Danny Amendola, New England Patriots agree on $31M contract
Former St. Louis Rams wide receiver Danny Amendola has agreed to a five-year, $31 million deal with the Patriots, Ian Rapoport of NFL.com reports. The agreement comes just hours after Welker agreed to a two-year, $12 million deal with the Broncos.
Amendola’s new deal also includes $10 million guaranteed.

Well that was fast. New England gets a very similar player with Amendola. I do feel that Amendola is more than just a slot guy. I saw this guy make some pretty impressive catches last season with the Rams. His only problem is staying healthy. This is going to be some season for us Jets fans the way this off-season is looking. You people have to be realistic here. At this point the Jets are a 3-6 win team. I’m leaning more towards the three side. Honestly I’m ok with it. This is going to be a rebuilding year and in a rebuilding year your not supposed to be good. If we had a good QB even with the team we have now things might be different (EX: Colts). But we don’t and like I said in a previous post, things can change when you least expect it. I really hope it does.
