Fox Sports profiles LSU wide receiver Jarvis Landry, an expected third or fourth rounder in the upcoming draft.
Brian Bassett, TheJetsBlog.comLandry is a willing physical player, he can contest passes and isn’t afraid to go over the middle and he runs good routes and has good hands. But in a league where receivers either need to create separation with speed or by their size, Landry’s projection and span of role in the NFL is up for debate. Standing 6’0″ Landry won’t have the size advantage of some bigger receivers and his straight-line speed is up for debate. Landry clocked a 4.77 40 yard dash at the NFL Combine.
Landry looks like he could become a solid possession receiver in the NFL, but it’s hard to know how much higher to project him beyond that.
