Film Room: The Defensive Line – No Holds Barred

This is really special. An absolute must-watch for any Jets fan.

From the Jets’ official site, Eric Allen talks to the Jets’ defensive line about how they operate as a unit and how they relate individually and with the coaching staff.

Unfortunately, Damon Harrison couldn’t be there but it’s hilarious to see how the other five guys interact with one another and gives us a behind-the-curtains look into what a close-knit group they are.

Here’s hoping they can keep these guys (and Harrison) together for a long time.

"No holds barred" is also how the officials approach this D-Line.

Great stuff,Jet fans can't complain about these guys up front.We need more beat writers that respect the Jets the way Allen does.Get Barnes back next year and look out.

There are two main takeaways from this: 1) this group is special and obviously has a lot of camaraderie and 2) Eric Allen might be the whitest person ever.

Just read that Walls has the highest ranking of all the Jets DBs by PFF.

Great line by MM in his presser!

"I have yet to read a NY paper! I have no idea where to get one!"

The old BFU to the Post, Daily Snooze and even the Times!

I really like this guy........we gotta keep MM!

It all starts this off season with Ellis and Wilkerson.

If the Jets get rid of Rex, they really better try and lock these guys up because we all know where they will end up if the Jets don't sign 'em.

They should do the same thing with the OL next.  And ask questions about Winters...awkward.

Coples seems a bit of the odd man out.  I wonder if he's trade bait in the offseason.

Like I said, most potential out of all our CBs. Milliner is coming along as fast as Joe Hadden. Keep rex a left all the guys continue to grow. The team just went threw a complete rebuild, under most guys nose. Stop looking for a head to roll and lets improve.

BGA in game break down, who's getting paid for that? Unbelievable almost free service.

@jake100 I just gave you the facts.  You wanna take some random guy on twitter's word over the guy with access to their full database good luck to you.

Bent
Bent

@jake100 That's not true either.  He signed a 2 year contract when he first signed and it's been listed as such on OTC and Sportrac for some time.

Some fans were operating on the assumption that he'd signed a one year deal as midseason acquisitions often do, but that's not the case.

Bent

@jake100 That's not true.

Lankster, Reed, Jarrett and Bush all have better overall grades and Trufant's is the same.  Landry has a better coverage grade and a much, much better grade on  a per-snap basis.

@djf1  Wow, that would so illuminating.

@Ceifus Hornswoggle I would trade him for Mingo if Brownies went for it, LB pass rusher problem solved for years to come

@Ceifus Hornswoggle I don't get that vibe at all.  They're just different dudes, but interaction is totally chill between them.

No, I will stick with your analysis, but Walls definitely looked solid out there.

I think we need to send you both to a mandatory session at the office of Dr. Jonathan Reefer. I understand that Dr. Reefer runs an excellent psychiatric facility for misguided souls.....

I am sure Dr, Reefer could help you both....

@Bent

Do you feel dirty after these interactions?

Bent

@jake100 @Bent It's not my analysis, I literally just quoted the figures from their site.

He's okay.  Milliner obviously has better upside.

I like Lankster better than Walls and feel he got stiffed this year by never getting a shot.

@Bent @jake100

We have a lot to look forward to and I am sure sure with obtaining some key pieces on the offense, will go a long way, go Jets!

Bent
Bent

@jake100 @Bent In conclusion, the receiver group was always fine, they just could have done without having more injuries at the position than any other team over the last two years and your repeated criticisms of the front office handling of the position were unwarranted.

Yes , he can, and Geno is progressing.

You said the QB has nobody to throw to again and again and again, but now you've decided that our third best receiver "can play"?

My Mom said if you don't have anything intelligent to say, don't say anything at all.

I wish she had been Marcus81's Mom as well!
