Looks as if LaRon’s brother is in Florham Park for a visit with the Jets today, per Ian Rapoport.
Last year, the Jets had LaRon Landry. What about safety Dawan Landry? Maybe. He's visiting them today.—

When Dawan was cut from the Jags, we immediately thought he should be in consideration for the Jets. Right now the Jets depth is pretty thin at safety after losing Smith, Bell and LaRon Landry. LaRon really liked playing in New York, so we’re sure that he’ll put in a good word, but Dawan would be a good depth addition for the Jets but he could contend for a starting role the way the roster looks at present. Dawan is a better run stuffing safety than roaming cover safety, but he would be an athletic upgrade over Smith and Bell.
