That's 3 hours of my life I'll never get back!

What a pathetic showing, now you know why we can't trade Kendrick Ellis for a CB.

I am so pissed at Stephen Hill.  I hoped the Jets would draft him, rooted for him each week, tried to see the improvements he was making and tried to convince others.

The dude just couldn't put it together.  Still holding some glimmer of hope that he makes the team and it just clicks, but I know I'm just being foolish at this point.

All this means is that the J.V. stinks.

Eli Manning threw for 0 yards today, was horrendous in his other 2 pre-season games as well, but against us he threw for 121 yards and a last second touchdown. I think it's fair to say we may have the worst secondary in the league...

Antwan back with some observations:

1. Clyde Gates will make this roster. IDK how, but he will. He's got more experience than Saalim

2. Our CB position is unresolved. The top of the chart is ok, but Lewis didn't show much before getting hurt, Lankster was solid (not great, but passable as a CB 4 guy), Patrick has been bad, Dowling is MIA- thank god that Walls has been good and Milliner is towards the end of the timetable.

3. Richardson is a keeper. Boyd is PS material, but showed flashes.

4. Simms should be better than he was.

5. Josh Bush will be cut

Idzik may be a smart guy but he is arrogant and stubborn in a nice calm way. He only wants "his" guys to succeed. This competition is all BS.

If milliner isn't 100% the jets will be lucky to repeat their 8-8 record last year.

Our Jets just surrendered 557 yards and 265 rushing and 37 points. Might have some serious depth issues. This better put the lanksters a quality cb crap to rest. Oh and bent, game 4 last season. Watch walls coverage on the td pass. What a joke. This is going to be a rough ride. Hope our o can keep pace.

I'm upstate where they only showed the giants game. Anyone play well enough to play themselves into a roster spot? Sounds like more people played their way off the roster.

Now I'm not sure about the 3rd string QB, Simms has shown good progress in game 3, did decent today, but Boyd had some flashy moments today and scoring the game's only TD. Who to keep?

He threw for 90 of those yards on the one drive.

@Cang  you DO NOT expose Dozier to being claimed, exceptional talent but needs work

Don't think Da Dozier is eligible for da practice squad. he was on it last season, no?

Saalim and Gates are not competing against each other. Saalim is a specials guy.

You have 54 listed...5 rb not 4...I think we are only keeping 2 qbs...

@Kyle Suta Even with a healthy Milliner, its likely the Jets will struggle to match last year's record. The rest of the secondary is a mess! Wilson can't cover his shadow, Ellis and Walls are penalty machines, an the "Allen Experiment" didn't work out. The Jets have a tough schedule and QB's like Brady and Manning will have a feast on our secondary! Don't forget Milliner is still unproven until he can show consistency in his game, and he's often injured, so he remains a bit of an enigma himself! Idzik went cheap...and its going to cost Jet Nation a bunch of points!

@Disgruntled Jets Fan Saunders showed a little. Otherwise, Simms played himself off the roster and Hill was his usual invisible self.

@Disgruntled Jets Fan The Jet secondary played extensively. Walls an Ellis saw the field, and overall, it looked pretty bad! These guys are being looked to as starters in the absence of Milliner. They were facing the Eagles third string QB! The only thing that would have made it worse for Jet fans, is if they actually played Sanchez and he embarrassed them!!

Pablo Bruno

@j3tsfan29 Not really early on he did good things, he showed poise, stepped into the pocket fired lazers down the field to receivers, as the game went on he got a little sloppy but he nor Boyd are competing for the starting or even back up role, they won't see the field at all and if they do we are in big trouble. 3rd string is where you have project QB's who may or may not amount to something.
