No gettin' around this one... Our two first two draft picks are out, with no time table yet, and we're eight days away from preseason kick off.

This is definitely rough luck for us bros... I'm "bummed out"

To top it off, practice has been a little off kilter as of late...

@kniff Already with this stuff? Amaro could play in a game tomorrow if he had to and they're most likely being overly cautious with Pryor. I'd be shocked if either of their current injuries keep them out of the game on 8/7.

@Brendan @kniff To be positive, there is a great chance for Cumby and Antonio Allen/Dawan Landry (for example) to shine in preseason, and hurt guys can still study...

Isn't Pryor's situation out of the Jet's hands?   The NFL concussion protocol  might be an arduous process.

@kniff Amaro is fine, though. He has patella tendinitis, which is not a serious injury. A guy like Amaro could play through it, but the team is smartly taking it easy with him. It's similar to Colon, who could have started camp practicing, but they decided to be cautious. Perhaps the team is going to stop guys from rushing back after seeing how it impacted Coples last season? I dunno.

But in the scheme of things, with the major injuries being suffered across the league so far, these injuries are nothing to worry about.

@Lloyd Jay Reife It's not entirely out of the Jets' hands. The protocol determines when he's allowed to start practicing again, but the team can hold him out longer if they'd like.
