Goodson’s Attorney: Garant Evans claimed ownership of gun

Another development in the Mike Goodson case came to light Friday. According to Seth Walder of the Daily News, Goodson’s attorney in the case has disclosed that during questioning on the night of the arrest the driver of the vehicle Garant Evans claimed to own the gun. Goodson’s attorney has stated publicly that the police report notes that Evans admitted the gun belonged to him.

The Jets said they were going to let the process play out, and if this news turns out to be true then Goodson might avoid the very worst charges that might have been leveled against him.
