Funny, the raider fans think they will win this one. They site the fact that they almost beat the Colts last season with Pryor and Carr is much better, and that the team overall is much better than last season. They can dream! I will admit, they did lose a few close games last season.

Pumped for Sunday! Two key Packer injuries will definitely help the Jets cause, but I don't want to look ahead, even though I did, lol. The Packs even with those injuries will be tough. They will be playing like a wounded animal in their house, and basically playing to not let their season get of to a very rough start. Also, I didn't want to mention the injury thing because of Karma, and we have to get get through Sunday healthy. I do admit though, that the packers game looks much better now, than before. Go jets!

NFL Article

Sports fans, check your calendars! Or maybe you already have. September 4th is the big kick-off for the NFL’s 2014-2015 season, and the first game will be played by defending champs Seattle Seahawks against the Green Bay Packers.

infinitybet have NFL match betting and outright markets available.

For the un-initiated, thegame,which has evolved from soccer in America, has been out providing intense action since the late 1800s in America. Beginning in the 1920s, it developed into a popular sporting league of paid professional players bringing non-stop action to stadiums with crowds of over a hundred thousand supporters. Nearly everyone in the American Football universe has probably heard about the story of how William Heffelfinger received $500 to play this game? Since then, American football has been on a par with baseball as the national sport of America.

The strategy of the game has also developed. One memorable moment was in 1978 when the Giants were in control and only had to kill one minute, when quarterback Joe Pisarcik messed up his handoff, which was scooped up by Eagles’ Herm Edwards, who then ran to the end-zone for the win. Coaches have now kept that in mind and always kept one player at the back whenever they are in the Giants’ situation.

As for the skill, fitness and professionalism of the players, one can recall John Elways’ “Drive” against the Cleveland Browns in 1987 which was done against a very tough defense. It showed then that (American) Football players are one of the strongest, most athletic athletes in the world, and it’s still true today.

So many great moments throughout the years, and so many more are expected this year. The 2014-2015 NFL Season will feature more explosive plays and runs, more complex tactical defenses, and more menacing formations. And like always, anything can happen!

The New England Patriots (1.22) are expected to win the AFC East division. So will the Cincinnati Bengals (2.6) in AFC North, the Denver Broncos (1.28) in AFC West, the Philadelphia Eagles (2.4) in NFC East, the Green Bay Packers (1.55) in NFC North, the New Orleans Saints (1.6) in NFC South, and the Seattle Seahawks (1.75) in the NFC West. The Niners could really disrupt the Seahawks’ division campaign but Navarro Bowman will be out for a great part of the season, recovering from a bad knee injury.

And who will win the Superbowl? It looks like it will be just among the Seattle Seahawks (6.5), Denver Broncos (7.00), San Francisco 49ers (8.00), Indianapolis Colts (23.00), and the Philadelphia Eagles (23.00). Peyton Manning will play his final season behind a strengthened defense that even the Seahawks would find it hard to penetrate.

1 hour until kickoff. Just enough time to stop by the dispensary and Chipotle.

@TRIP_77 @JetsTalkLine Even IF milliner is back by week two he will not be close to football shape. He is not even running full blast yet. The main thing is that he is not rushed back and in a couple weeks from then, will be at 100%.

Before I read the whole article, I figured that Boss Hog just wanted the modified mouth guard so he could talk trash easier.

@Bernie Lyons He doesn't face a lifetime ban. He faces max six game suspension that probably won't be six games.

@Rudibager @Brendan

I assume you haven't been reading Brendan's and other bleeding hearts comments on this blog regarding Ray Rice and Bryan Thomas domestic abuse issues!!

Now because the problem hits close to home he wants to give his boy every chance because "He doesn't know what happened" although the reporting info on all three has been about the same ....with Enunwa possible having more info on what transpired!!

I'm criticizing ALL the bleeding hearts/apologists that crucified Thomas and Rice having LIMITED info and not saying a WORD about it w/their Boy Enunwa.....and the Jets Resigning him after he had been arrested !!!

My oh my THE HYPOCRISY of it all!!!

Brendan
Brendan

@Hanknaples Hank, please stop saying I am being a hypocrite. I call Thomas/Rice scumbags because we know they assaulted women. I never said Enunwa was innocent, just that we needed to wait before judging him.

Hanknaples
Hanknaples

@Brendan

Brendan, You know why I'm calling you a hypocrite ?? Because you arte a hypocrite!! Know why??

Because the problem now hits close to home and you are NOW switching and holding the same position you trashed ME for !!!

And you know that as fact and if you want me to prove it I will take out the previous comments and remind you !!!

And don't tell me you need more info because the last 2-3 days the media has released as much OR MORE info about Enunwa than they did about Rice and Thomas !!!

tsjc68
tsjc68

@Brendan @Hanknaples

And if all three of them did commit acts of violence against women, all three should be punished for it.

And Enunwa's punishment should be the smallest, because his act of violence looks to be the least violent act of the three (and the most isolated incident).

tsjc68
tsjc68

@Hanknaples

And don't tell me you need more info because the last 2-3 days the media has released as much OR MORE info about Enunwa than they did about Rice and Thomas !!!

They did, yes.

And the information they've released says that what he did isn't as bad as what Ray Rice did, so our desire to see Enunwa punished should similarly be smaller than our desire to see Rice punished.

If Enunwa did physically assault a woman in any way, though, he absolutely should be punished by missing some games and some checks.

@tsjc68 @Brendan

You are sooo freeking lost, you are now measuring "Domestic Violence" by degrees LMFAO....GOM thank God you have Zero Influence !!

@tsjc68 Um... Ray Rice pulled his unconscious wife out of an elevator, and we all saw it on video.  I think that's more information than we have on Quincy, no?

tsjc68
tsjc68

@Hanknaples

All acts of violence are measured by degrees, Hank.

Spitting on someone is less serious than slapping them, which is less serious than dragging them off a bed by their ankles/hair, which is less serious than punching them in the face until they lose consciousness and you drag their body out of an elevator, which is less serious than hiring a hitman to kill your pregnant fiancee and then fleeing cross-country and hiding in the trunk of a car.

Every sane person should be able to see that.

Hanknaples
Hanknaples

@tsjc68

You tell that to Goodel.. and show him all the previous comments your bleeding hearts have made on this issue !!! !!

tsjc68
tsjc68

@Hanknaples @tsjc68

My comments are consistent.

On the Rice matter, I said "I don't know for certain what happened, but I do know the outcome (he knocked her unconscious and dragged her body out of an elevator) and I know that no action of hers could justify his violent response.

I also don't know what happened in the Enunwa case, and I similarly can't say that any action of hers warranted his response if he violently pulled her off the bed by either her ankle or hair, and that HE SHOULD BE PUNISHED FOR WHAT HE DID.

But that, unlike Rice, Quincy Enunwa's alleged victim DID NOT LOSE CONSCIOUSNESS so what he allegedly did to her is not as violent or egregious as what Rice allegedly did to his fiancee.

I do not condone violence against women and want people who abuse women to be punished.

The severity of the abuse should dictate the severity of the punishment.

This should be simple enough to understand.

Hanknaples
Hanknaples

@tsjc68

" "They (domestic violence/sexual abuse) have no place in the NFL and are unacceptable in any way, under any circumstances. That has been and remains our policy.''

Do you understand the words "IN ANY WAY. UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES" ??

KEEP DIGGING...!!!!

tsjc68
tsjc68

@Hanknaples @tsjc68

I am not disagreeing with that.

For the third time:  I AM IN FAVOR OF QUINCY ENUNWA GETTING SUSPENDED FOR WHAT HE ALLEGEDLY DID AND MISSING BOTH GAMES AND GAME-CHECKS.

There is no hypocrisy here.  I was immediately pro-suspension on Rice, and I am immediately pro-suspension on Enunwa.
