Jets hire executive to lead search for new GM

The New York Jets have hired Jed Hughes of Korn/Ferry International to lead their search for a new general manager to replace Mike Tannenbaum, according to a league source. Hughes is the vice chairman of the sports sector of the Korn/Ferry, which is an international, executive recruiting company. The Jets also used Korn/Ferry when they hired current team president Neil Glatt.

It has been reported for the past week that the Jets were planning to move on from Tannenbaum.

Here’s more info on Jed Hughes

Shockingly Alec Ogletree actually was not ejected from the game for that hit

@Brian Webster Not only was Ogletree not ejected, he has yet to be fined.

He's actually received no punishment of any kind because his penalty was  inexplicably nullified. There were offsetting penalties for fighting against both teams. And there was a penalty against a Giant for bumping an official in the melee, which you would have expected would have offset against Ogletree's late hit. Instead, the Ogletree penalty was completely wiped away and the Giants were penalized 30 yards, from the 41 back to the 11. No explanation ever given.

I was hoping the officiating crew might have given us a clue as to why they had come to any of the decisions they did. But unfortunately, that ref communicated as if he were speaking a foreign language and was being translated live through babel fish.

Ogleetree must have committed 17 penalties on that play, aside from being the instigator of headhunting Beckham.

Isn't the Ram defensive coach the guy who was at the center of the NO Saints bounty hunter scandal? Looks like that coach was up to his old tricks. Disgusting
