Jets Nation: OTAs, Eric Decker, and Family

The Jets Nation panel discusses the differences between missing OTA’s and mandatory minicamps, and how Eric Decker will help this season >>

Eric Decker attending the CMTs was more human interest than controversy, but Lucas makes a great point in that everything will be magnified in New York.  There’s a lot of attention paid to who’s where and doing what than in other cities, but I don’t think that Decker did anything wrong or orchestrated this in a way to manufacture the story.

In part, I have stated that this sort of attention part of the reason why Decker and his wife Jessie James came to New York in the first place.  James is a talented musician and being in a place like New York can do nothing but help them since she is an entertainer and public figure.

Ray Lucas overachieved and was easy to root for as a player.  In his best season,  he threw for almost  1700 yards. Basically he did nothing significant as a player.

Now as an analyst he kills guys with a lot more talent than he ever possessed and acts like a bully with his microphone.  He was killing Dee Milliner for being out of shape  Geno Smith won't be the starter because Michael Vick is a better player.  Stephen Hill might not make the team because he hasn't shown anything.  Mike Goodson will be cut because he missed OTA's.

This may be the dumbest clip ever posted here.  Why does Painkiller Ray keep this job?
