The Jets signed two more players to future/reserve contracts today: Inside linebacker Danny Lansanah and cornerback and returner Cliff Harris.
Lansanah, who played in five games for the Green Bay Packers in 2008 before bouncing around leagues, joins fellow ILB JoJo Dickson both of whom the Jets will take a look at along with Nick Bellore to get a feel for their inside linebacker depth. Josh Mauga is a free agent and Bart Scott could be a cap casualty come March which may pave the way for Demario Davis to start.
Harris had a promising future at Oregon before off the field issues saw him dismissed from the team. Known for his speed, Harris most certainly made his name not only for his quotes but his punt return abilities that were complimented by a solid set of cornerbacking skills. He was signed as a UDFA by the Eagles before being released in August 2012. He could be a player to watch throughout camp.
