more excited about Saunders, but Jets have a project they can start working on with Evans

Hopefully, we can package our 5th and 6th get another 4th rounder.  We need to get really good players.  Not just players.

Thinking about it, it makes sense that the Jets take Saunders over Ellington. Bruce is still raw, and needs time. Saunders can play right away.

Special Teams is looking good

Good chance that Yankey, Bryant or Desir will be on the board at 115. The Jets have checked off all 4 major needs so far. Now they go BPA with the rest of the 8 picks.

Saunders is a poor man's Brandin Cooks

Like the pick...

They still need to add a WR with length who is physical to play on the outside opposite Decker

Are the patriots kinda copying what we did last year with our draft

Jalen Saunders. Small, but physical. I wanted Ellington, but this is fine.

this guy is smaller than Austin, hope he knows how to avoid being hit

He is certainly better than Nelson & Hill

Nelson/Hill

Kerley is darkhorse if Saunders is really good, then Kerley outside and Saunders in the slot.

@bradysucks  If you wanted Jackson- he's  the closest thing in the draft. He will play outside

@a57se So do you think he'll play more on the outside or is he really Kerleys replacement?

@Cordell C  i would resign him for the low i never thought he was that bad. i thought the media made him out to be worst then he was, because he wouldnt talk to them. but he's still better then any dude on our team outside of decker

Kerley on the outside? Saunders has a better chance of playing on the outside

He will be used on special teams....do not think he plays outside...disagree

I like the pick.....

Hard to envision a guy who weighs 160 playing outside but Mayock did say he was tough kid so maybe he can...

Could be a sleeper pick...hope so

@High$ocietyJet

To me, he is a no. 4 WR and a return specialist.

But He CAN catch the ball and fill in for Kerley should he get hurt again.

Yea I don't think he's that bad but doubt he comes back think the team has turned the page

jetsfan65
jetsfan65

Yea but kerley is best suited for the slot, he played outside out of necessity. Y do u think wr is such a big need this year?

Im just hoping that Hill turns it around, at only 22-23 yrs old i haven't quit on him

@jetsfan65

Kerley already played on the outside and put up very good numbers in 2012.

I like the pick....Hope the Jets aren't done taking playmakers

@bradysucks  I'm saying he's Jackson-lite. Plays exactly the same way. Not quite as good-but really good and a threat to go all the way. Pretty fearless.

As small and fast as he is I'd imagine he is pretty electric

Can't really compare him to Desean Jackson who had a 1st round grade when he was drafted (even though he was picked in round 2)

This guy is a smaller WR but he seems like a poor man's Jackson or Cooks to me....I do think he will help the offense....Just hope he catches better than Hill & Gates

jenkins
jenkins

@bradysucks  I think he can play both. More like Jackson plays outside. Electric.

He probably would start of returning punts
