Kotwica attended Army, starting for three seasons at linebacker and was captain of the winningest team in school history.

(miketaliaferro) I noticed a report Sunday night/Monday morn about this after the ST debacle vs. the Panthers. So, figured it meant he was being scapegoated & pushed out, or was ready to jump off the SS Rex to save his own skin. Either is a concern, despite the overall weak ST play this year.

I always thought that Tom Coughlin would have make an ideal Head Coach for Army, he's a hardass and anal when it comes to discipline, which is the culture up at West Point.

I hope he gets it, and then I hope they bring Westhoff back.......

@Hanknaples no one argued this.

you don't get any cool points for stating the obvious.

@karlhungusWestoff is not coming back and we might have a whole new coaching staff next year.That's probably why Kotwica would consider it a no brainer; no job security here.

I wonder how soon after the 16th game that Idzik will let us poor slobs know his plans.

@frustjetfn@karlhungus The coaching staff will be back next year, there is no one better out there and taking another QB and putting him through the coaching carousel would be idiotic....

If you are going to roll with Geno another year, then changing coaches would be dumb.

And if you aren't going to roll with Geno, then Rex deserves a shot with a vet QB at the helm before you toss him out.... I would take Schaub in a heartbeat over the crap we have rolled out there the last 3 years...

A vet QB, a LG and a decent WR and this team can make a run next year.
