There were some concerns heading into the draft regarding Sheldon Richardson and his motivation. Let’s just say this: Most of these guys who walked across the stage Thursday night are 21 or 22 years old. Richardson is 22. Give him a chance to grow up. Here’s the other deal with Sheldon: He led all SEC interior defensive linemen with 75 tackles. Last I checked, that was a pretty strong conference with relatively talented D-linemen. Every team’s goal is to bring in more talent in the draft. The Jets found a way to bring in more quarterback drama. Tim Tebow out, Geno Smith in. (Hensley)

Mark Sanchez completed less than 50 percent of his passes in more than half of his starts last season, but he will most likely enter the season as the starter with Geno Smith hot on his heels. I’m not sure this team has the offensive firepower for either one of them to actually “win” a game, both will just need to make it a priority not to “lose” the game.
