Dee Milliner will “hopefully” be 100 percent for minicamp, Rex Ryan said on Wednesday.
Milliner was limited in OTAs this week, after not being able to participate at all last Wednesday (Slater, June 11). Ryan clarified that Milliner does not have a pulled hamstring, just a “tight” one.
“He has to understand that he has to be in extraordinary shape,” Ryan said previously (NY Post, June 4). “His challenge is to be in world-class shape because we have to have you out there. He needs to be out there. He needs to get work because that’s how he’s going to get better.”
Milliner missed time last season with a hamstring injury, as well as shoulder and ankle injury.
He is expected to be one of their starting cornerbacks this season.
“Just precautionary,” Milliner said after practice last week (ESPN, June 4). “I’ll be fine.”
