The Tampa Bay Buccanneers are willing to part with a first-round draft pick for Darelle Revis, according to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk. Florio said the Jets are asking for “a lot more.”
However, on TampaBay.com, Rick Stroud said that the Jets have have told the Bucs that they must include the first-round pick in 2013, at the very minimum, and Tampa Bay is unsure if they’re willing to deal their 13th overall pick this year.
Stroud said that the Bucs had hoped that the Jets would take a first-round pick for the 2014 draft.
He said that the Bucs have given themselves a loose deadline of a week before the NFL Draft to make a deal for Revis.
