The only people who are complaining are people who get to go to the superbowl for free and are upset that they don't get to travel for their paid vacation, and idiots who listen to people complaining about being paid to go to the superbowl.

It really irritated me this week to see some beat reporters crying about the fact their all-expenses-paid "working" trip to the Super Bowl might be slightly unpleasant because of the cold weather.

Why the hell do they even need to be there?  It's not like everybody will be on tenterhooks waiting for Jane McManus' take on Seattle-Denver.  There is literally no point in them being there, so they're getting an opportunity most other people would love to have and being completely ungrateful about it.

Cold weather football is great.  It should be in New York every year, like the draft.  ESPECIALLY if that pisses off the media.

I hope it is a disaster for the owners of the stadium and the NFL  ----what a joke not to put a retractable dome on the stadium to save a measly $100 million

@Bent In all seriousness, I don't like how little New Jersey is benefiting economically from the events.  And  commuters are being inconvenienced for a week.

I want it COLD!!!!

Seattle 0 Denver is fine with me.

ANYONE but the Patriots.

Hell, even Miami instead of the Pats.

@Bent  Bent, how can you say that!

I live to read what Jane McManus writes.  And Peter King and ...

Actually, other than the Jets Blog, I read Over The Cap, Gang Green Nation, Advanced NFL Stats, Grantland, PFF, and Football Outsiders.    Anything else I should read?

In all seriousness, are there  *ANY* professional writers I should read?  I can't recall reading anything from any of them.

@spindoctor If they can stick it to the fans, why not?

Let me ask you this - how much worse is the new stadium for viewing football than the old one?

@levi @Bent I think BB and Corey said on a previous podcast that they will be going to some of the events in the lead-up to the big game, but not the game itself.
