The Jets have signed former Tampa Bay Bucs running back Mossis Madu, according to Madu’s own instagram site. With Mike Goodson still on the “did not report” reserve list and Chris Ivory and Joe McKnight injured, they need more depth at the position.
The Jets, who released Jordan White earlier today also released WR Marcus Davis, who had been claimed off waivers from the Giants in May. Davis needs shoulder surgery according to TheJetsBlog’s Jake Steinberg.
UPDATE: CB Eric Crocker, who intercepted a pass but was beaten for a score in last night’s scrimmage was also let go.
You can expect more roster moves to be announced over the next day or so.
