Schiano on Revis: Anything is possible

Per ESPN: The Bucs introduced former 49ers S Dashon Goldson on Wednesday at a news conference, but the elephant in the room was Darrelle Revis. The Jets are shopping Revis, and the Bucs are known to be interested, so …

“Everything’s a possibility, but we’re not allowed to talk about players under contract with other teams,” Bucs coach Greg Schiano told the NFL Network.

Schiano also had this to say: “We’re trying to get better and anybody that can help us do that, they’re definitely on our radar.”

An interesting fact from this article is Revis is owed a $1M roster bonus Saturday.

$1 million shouldn’t force a decision on the Jets. Although I wish it did. I know everybody here is sick of the name Revis and quite frankly I am too. I don’t want to get into an argument about whether the Jets should keep him or trade him. I just want them to make a decision and say we are going to resign him or trade him. I think that the Jets are going to trade Revis. I’m not saying that they should. I’m just saying what I feel they are going to do. On the other hand, why clear all this cap space if you don’t plan on doing anything with it?
