Reese isnt on the hot seat, buddy. Those rbs suck. Most of the OTs have already been signed. Its defense and the draft. As it should be

Aside from my choices for OTs which would be my 1st priority http://www.twitlonger.com/show/n_1sku0bq?new_post=true it doesn't make any sense to invest in RBs if you have a line that only does pass protection. The Giants need guys that are capable at Power running - and that includes Tackles - they have the capability to score with passing but they fail at keeping the ball away from opponents and running down the clock when they have a lead at the end of the game

should be an interesting off season, lets see if reese can improve the roster in fa before picking in the draft, picking bpa in the first three rounds should get starters assumimg the jints don't reach for a need and make a mistake.

If McCourty ends up truely testing the mrkt(doesn't just sign back w NE) I truely believe it is imperative that the GMEN go out and do "whatever it takes" to bring Devin back to the metropolitan area!!! Moore is a decent safety but doesn't compare to McCourty and if were talking the diff of $2 mil between the two top safeties it seems like an easy choice for me!!! Kid can play corner and safety at a probowl level and is currently the consensus #2 FA on the defensive side of the ball, myb all around after Suh... The upcoming draft is as weak as it gets in terms of the S position and I wouldn't even waste my time w my first 4 picks even considering any of them. The Giants have some serious work to do and with a few creative/smart moves in FA and another strong draft the Giants could easily be back in the playoff picture next season!!!

Depending on who is avail at 9 and what the Gints ideally want to do w the pick I think it could be in there best interest to trade down if at all possible to acquire another 2nd rd selection. Seems really likely for a change this yr and I'll be very interested in seeing if it's on Jerry's mind come time to make their first selection... Escpecially if you want to go OL w the first rd pick(personally I think In this draft it is the wrong move however if you trade down to acquire another selection in a decently deep draft talent wise anything is possible. I do like this Jake Fisher OT out of Ore in the later rds I think he is underrated and could be a 10 yr starter in the NFL w a bright future...

FS- McCourty will be $9 M to $10.5 M per year for 5 years.... worth it, yes.... but a lot of Cap space would have to be made up, this year..... a ELI extension would do it ..... but a less expansive FS option is more realistic.

Still riding the Beckham wave, REESE will be swinging for the Fence's with the 9th Pick, NO chance he trades back.....

But i 100% agree, i would trade back, i would put the WORD out today i wanna trade the 9th Pick, stur-up a Buzzzzzzz get sum Value.... i can always says no....

My Trade back Mock: NYG's 1.R.9th = KC's 1.R.18th + KC' 2.R. 17th

1.R. 18th: OLB- Shaq Thompson

2.R. 9th: ILB- Denzel Perryman

2.R. 17th: TE- Clive Walford

3.R. 9th: FS/CB- Eric Rowe

I like OT Jake Fisher , but his Great Combine makes him a 2nd round pick....

Can someone clarify for me the status of Mike Iupati? Thought he was a free-agent. Did the 49ers bring him back? Bringing him in the fold would definitely allow Reese to draft the best player avavailable come Draft Day.

@David Lopez

Iupati is on the decline, just a average pass blocker & run blocking is slowing down, really buyer beware, i think the Chargers want him.

@David Lopez .... 49ers have yet to resign Iupati, so he can still be had if the Giants want him bad enough. I'm pretty certain that Reese will not spend the money to bring Iupati in because of the money he already spent to bring in Schwartz. Plus he signed the Canadian kid Jones, so if Jones doesn't win the C job, he could play G alongside of Pugh.
