Harrison’s Comments: That was a real nice last drive, Geno Smith. Completion, completion, completion, big scramble for first down, and then another completion a couple of plays later. Dude, Muhammad Wilkerson was unblockable Monday night.
Brian Bassett, TheJetsBlog.comWe all know what the defense is going to be for the Jets, it comes down to whether or not the offense can limit the turnovers and penalties to keep the defense out of short field position. Monday night was the first turnover free game from Geno Smith and it resulted in a convincing win over a former NFC Championship contender.
The Falcons are not the team that many expected, but they still have some excellent players and the Jets did well to limit them. Next up, the Steelers are winless through four games, but will be coming off a much needed bye and this Week 6 game is one where the Jets would be wise to stockpile another win now before they take on the roughest stretch of the season with the Bengals, Patriots and Saints before their break.
