Smith seemed one of the team’s most likely candidates for the squad as did Dowtin and Sapp.  Donnie Fletcher looked good in camp and has seemingly made an impression on the coaching staff.  The Jets like Jordan White and while not protecting him for the regular roster is tough, he could be a player that could be a contributor to this team in coming years.  I’m surprised that Antonio Allen didn’t make the list, but there are other moves that will come in time and that might free space on the squad or regular roster for a player like him.
