Jets have announced final 7 cuts to get roster to NFL’s 53-player maximum. All 7 were waived: T Paul Cornick, DB Donnie Fletcher, RB Terrance Ganaway, WR Royce Pollard, LB Ricky Sapp, TE Hayden Smith and WR Jordan White.

This agrees with the information that was reported today, apart from the fact that Jordan White was among the cuts (making it three of the eight draft picks that were cut) and that Damon Harrison was not.

Remember, none of the people on the current 53-man roster have officially made the team yet. Mike Tannenbaum always makes a handful of waiver claims, or tries to sign released veterans and some of the people on the current 53-man roster will need to be moved to make way. You would have to imagine that Harrison, Dennis Landolt and Dedrick Epps would be the players in most jeopardy.
