GM Watch: Jets Brass Headed to South Florida?

Woody’s private plane is on the move again, according to FlightAware this time to Fort Lauderdale Florida scheduled for an 11:16AM landing just about 10 miles from the Dolphins practice facility at Nova Southeastern University.

It could just be a coincidence as some members of the Johnson family are getting out of the cold, but it seems unlikely just days after the Jets supposedly interviewed Brian Gaine and showed interest in Pep Hamilton as a coordinator candidate. Gaine and Hamilton were in the Jets organization in the early 2000s, and while I’m out and about and can’t put a definite timeline on it, they might have overlapped …

UPDATE: The jet in question is scheduled to be in Fort Lauderdale for three hours before returning home today.  It doesn’t look like it’s down there for a quick whisking back to New York … might be some ongoing meetings going on in South Florida … random thought … did the meet with Gaine not happen earlier this week?  Is this the first meeting between the Jets and Gaine?  Whatever it is, the way the flight plans are being scheduled, it’s not a quick trip down to whisk him immediately back …
