While we’ve all been left to wonder about Darrelle Revis and his status for Week 2 aftering suffering a “mild concussion” on Sunday against the Bills, the New York Jets expect to have their star cornerback against the Pittsburgh Steelers next week. Adam Schefter of ESPN reported Monday night per NFL.com that the Jets will put Revis through the standard head injury testing over the course of this week, but that “essentially he looks to be a go at this point in time.”
We’ll see what happens, but it’s good to hear that Revis might be well enough to play this weekend. With Mike Wallace and the passing attack of the Steelers, they will need all the help they can get.
We’ll learn more when the Jets get back to practice tomorrow.
