Someone will pay him more than the Giants will.  The Giants will be left with 2 DEs that they really didn't want to play much for some reason (Ayers and Moore).  DE and safety are the biggest holes on the Giants going into 2015.

If it's me I'm Gona sit him down w his ppl and let him know the plan is to go after and sign Suh than bring him in on a fair deal for wha his worth is and I mean fair I don't think ppl on this site r giving him his do... Has he had few tough yrs due to injury yea but he's back now and myb not his old self but not too far from it so that's the plan to bring in Suh bring back JPP and draft all defense and an OT endless someone that great falls to u at a position u are not in desperate need of but this D needs to get NASTY and MEAN ... I think Suh can help w that lol the O is almost set an OT here a tweak there and work on this D ...

Do not pay him more than he is worth....probably in the range of 7ml per year for 3 years. That would be my limit.

In no way has he played  like a big money the last two years and these sacks he is getting lately are after the Giants are out of it.

With cap going up 10 mill, some will make him a redonkulous offer. If he's all about the $$$ he's gone. If he truly wants to stay a Giant, they can agree on a moderate deal.

Personally, I don't see him coming back, or living up to the deal he'll sign.

We would likely get at best a third rounder if he signs elsewhere

he decided to play on his walk year so give him a one year deal with incentives otherwise let someone else put up with the lack of production leading up to the next walk year.

I do not want to see him go but he is not worthy of a long term deal for huge money. If he does not accept something reasonable I would consider franchising him next year.  Yes it is a lot of money for 1 year but you will not be locked in long term and they have cap money.

I would like to see a full year of high level play and not just a few games.

He had a very good year.  But it's the first good year since 2011.

It all depends on how much he wants.

Does he want JJ Watt money?  If so, then I'd let him go.

I'd like to see an incentive laden contract "we'l;l pay you extra if you produce"

@McGeorge He's worth some money but not A LOT/  should give NY hometown discount since he seemed to take 3 years off.
