wouldnt it be great if the Giants had a running back that could do it all and instead of having 4 or 5 running backs who can do one thing well I mean jeez. I understand running back by committee but the Giants take it to new levels. To me committee means one all purpose back like Marshon Lynch and then like a 3rd done power back or very fast guy. It does not mean just accumulate a bunch of injury prone medicare backs. That does not equal one really good one.

That's why my Dark horse selection for the Giants might be Todd Gurley. If healthy this kidd is absolutely explosive. Wouldn't need 6 backs on the roster. Not saying they should take a running because boy their are much bigger needs but if Reese wants playmaker Gurley is it.

@jaymanjay

we can grab Tevin Coleman or Ajayi or Duke Johnson in Round 2.......all are beasts.....a backfield with Williams, Coleman/Ajayi/Johnson and Vereen and Darkwa (who is shifty and can catch) would be fully-loaded......add an alpha WR in Round 1 and the Giants offense becomes scary-elite with 2 picks......then go BPA, needs et al, after that.....that's what I think we should do picking at # 9 and # 40.......

@jaymanjay

to many RB's...

1 Jennings is the starter,

2. Williams the #2

3. Vereen 3rd Down

.... this draft is RB Deep, REESE can get a TOP RB in the 3rd or 4th round.

Again not saying they should take a running just saying if they did Gurley is a much better prospect than any of thr mediocre running backs we have. FYI i think they shoukd go offensive line. And trust me if any of these so called running backs were the next Adrian Peterson they would be top five selections. None of them are and if not injured Gurley would be a top 5 selection. Running back is still an important position it just that there are not a lot of all purpose every down guys anymore that's why teams choose to go running back by committee but when you have a Mason Lynch it completely changes your offense and what you can do. Having 3 or 4 running backs on your roster who will all see playing time is not a good thing it simply tells you we lack elite talent at the position. Giants thought they drafted that guy in the first with Wison but he got injured and was not able to become the all purpose back they planned for.
