I think if Cooper is there, he's the pick. If not, they take Scherff. Scherff isn't a sexy pick, but he will make our painfully average offensive line better from day 1.

If Scherff and Cooper are both off the board, it's Gurley or trade back. Might be able to strike a deal with an 11-15 team hoping to land their guy. Address safety in the 2nd round with Rowe. Draft a RB like Yeldon or Langford in round 3 if available.

I could see the Giants using a wait-and-see approach with the WR position this season. If you don't get your WR target this year (Cooper), there's some major WR's entering free agency in 2016.

REESE will go to his Happy Place..... WR, he's Drafting for his JOB !

if Cooper or White are there, 100%

WR D. Paker 10 %... 40% LG Scherff ... 50% DE Alvin Dupree ( the JPP of DE's)

do you know why you keep hearing " REESE is drafting in the TOP 10 "

thats because of 6 and 10 !!!

and NO !!!!! GM's get a lot more room then HC's,  who YES, coach for their jobs every year.

NOT GM's.... who are tied to the draft, and are given 3 year's to make a true evaluation.

2 Lombardi trophies in his first 8 years.......Injuries were the biggest negative impact over the past 2 years........ Mara calls the shots with the GM and HC positions........who he keeps, who he lets go......

it's football, like horse racing......buy a toaster if you want a guarantee......lighten up.....

ELI = HOF

TC = HOF

REESE = Average

Roster Depth, has been the biggest Negative Impact

the Injuries excuse has been disproven... period

Wellington Mara set the RULE's of the Front Office.

John Mara follows those rules and let's his Coach, Coach !!! & his GM, GM !!!

JAYMANJAY Mock Two rounds:

R1: Gurley RB, Peat OT, or Waynes CB

I do not believe Reese trades up or down from this selection it just is not really his style. It has been tough because you can't account for trades others might make. But these three players I would consider at 9 assuming some of the top players are long gone which I think they will be Cooper, White for example.

Why Gurley? Simple if Reese is serious about BPA then he is better then any of the players available at that point and the best offensive player not a QB in the draft. He is a all around back. And if not for injury he would be top 5.

Why Peat? Scouts are mixed on him and I could easily select Shereff here instead but the fact is this guy has all the attributes and traits needed to be a dominant RT. He is 6'7 beast and I think the Jonathan Martin comparisons as way out of line he is different person. We are considering him for RT not LT and in that case he makes sense. But again Shereff would be fine too, but I get the potential the Giants may see in Peat.

Why Waynes? If the super bowl showed anything its that a top flight CB is still very valuable and Waynes is the best of the group. The Giants don't have a back up plan for Prince if he walks and both starters were injured. This selection makes too much sense.

2RD. D. GREEN-BECKHAM

I'd take the risk again if not for some maturity issues this kid would be a lottery selection. You would be taking a flyer on a 6"5 monster WR with speed and great hands. BPA by far at this point. The reward is just too great and he fills a role that they have missed and been searching for since Plax and Hakeem.

If walk away with Gurley and Beckham or Waynes and Beckham or Peat and Beckham. Reese would be moving in the right direction to adding top tier talent to this roster. Like John has said Quality players taking 5he most talented guys.

Round 1 - Cooper or White otherwise trade out of spot and get an additional round 2 to grab shaq and Ajayi

In Round 3 take Ekpre-Olomu

Trade out of 9 because there are PLENTY of lineman options that can be had later in round 1.

It all depends on which direction they want to go with their BPA pick near the top of round 1....I believe this has already been decided upon....if their OL guy grades out at around the same level as a skill position guy (WR, maybe even a RB) then they choose .....which talent do you want?.....picking at # 9 both should be exceptional - which 'theme' are you applying for your team, your offense  or your defense at this pick?.....picking this high is an 'impact' pick.....where's your priority with essentially equal talent?....
