With Gronk and Chandler Jones out of tonight’s game for the Pats, New England isn’t the only ones dealing with injuries heading into tonight’s game.

After releasing WR Jason Hill earlier this week, the Jets have activated rookie receiver Jordan White off their practice squad to the regular roster in anticipation that the Jets might be without their top receiver in their matchup with the Patriots tonight.
The Patriots run defense is starting to flag, which is a good thing for the Jets but the team is weakest in their secondary. The Patrriots secondary is quite bad, and while adding Talib will help them he’s not the steady consistent player that Belichick likes and instead is more like the boom or bust cornerback that can be pick sixing one play and getting toasted the next.
So Losing Kerley in tonight’s game will be a big blow to the Jets and will put more pressure on players like Stephen Hill, Chaz Schilens, Clyde Gates and of course, Dustin Keller. We’ll see if White is active, but if he is how much would the Jets use him? And how would they do so? Bubble screens? Reverses? Based on his size he might be a good possession type option or could be used in spread option plays.
